We want you to use Axonote because it works for you — not because you feel locked in. This policy explains when you can get your money back.
Subscriptions (monthly / yearly)
You can cancel a subscription at any time from Account → Billing or by emailing billing@axonote.ai. When you cancel, access continues until the end of the period you already paid for; we do not issue pro-rata refunds for partially-used periods unless required by law.
Lifetime licence
Lifetime licences are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If within 30 days of purchase you decide Axonote is not for you, email us and we will refund the full amount to the original payment method, typically within 5 business days. You keep access until the refund is processed.
EU right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services within 14 days of purchase. The 30-day policy above exceeds this right; choose whichever works better for you. To exercise the withdrawal right, email billing@axonote.ai with your order reference and a statement that you are withdrawing.
When we cannot refund
We may decline a refund request in the following cases:
- The account has been used in bad faith or violated the Terms.
- Refund was already issued on this account within the last 6 months.
- The request is submitted after the 30-day window for a lifetime purchase.
- Charges arise from your own API key usage (Groq / Google / OpenAI) billed directly to you by those providers — we do not see or control that billing.
How to request a refund
- Email billing@axonote.ai from the address on the account.
- Include the order reference (from your Stripe receipt) or the email the purchase was made with.
- Briefly describe the reason. We read every one and it helps us improve.
We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and resolve them within 10 business days. Funds return through the original payment method; Stripe typically completes the transfer within 5–10 additional business days depending on your bank.
Questions
If you are unsure whether a refund applies in your case, email us and ask. We would rather walk you through it than have you leave frustrated.
